Eligibility
To be eligible and get the benefits of a TAG, you must meet the following criteria:
UC Merced Transfer Admission Requirements

By the end of summer 2024, have a minimum UC GPA as follows:
- All majors in the School of Natural Sciences: 2.9
- All majors in the School of Computer Science and Engineering: 3.0
- All majors in the School of Social Sciences, Humanities & Arts (except Psychology): 2.8
- Psychology Majors and Public Health Majors: 3.0
- Specific major courses required for TAG
- IGETC is required for Public Health majors
- No unrepeated grades of C-, D, F, or NP in UC-transferable courses
- No more than two (2) W grades (including EW grades) in major preparation courses
- No more than (1) deficient grade in a major prep course, even if courses have been repeated with passing grade
